but dont u throw safety out the window as soon as u hit your right foot on the gas racing about? and in a corsa with anything less than a 1.6 tuned up u have to hit your right foot hard, and still feel like your goin nowhere my 5 aint the safest agreed, but who cares, it seems that most people are only after power, safety doesnt always come into it when u see yourself as a so called boy racer

dont have corsa C figs to hand but i dont think they were particularly outstanding

point is, saxos arent as unsafe as you'd think, your running the same risk in a corsa b

im very concerned about my safety on the roads today, i take it easy in town roads and built up areas, but open country roads theres nothing wrong with a spirited ride

Do you believe i am impressed with my standard 3 spokes? NO! i would love to spend money on it, but as i previously stated, i cannot since i am emmigrating to a far better place than this shithole, getting away from this hellhole of scum and scallies.

cheers spoke to turbo technics in the week, thinking of having there satge 3 turbo for the 5 should move then! but it still aint the safest car on the road, and my corsa did well on the impact it took of an impreza and i got out unhurt with no marks at all, so im n ot gonna say the corsa aint a safe car, cuz to me it is!

ohh and regarding the saxo VS corsa day

the corsa bay is huge, so easy to fit a 2.0 block, and tune it, etc...

the saxo bay is tiny. no room for a GTi-6 block. so gotta go the cams/TB's or forced induction route to get big power.

plus i dont think any saxos have got an LSD yet. did your 2.1 corsa?

exactly wainey. My best mate crashed head on with a BMW 5 series both doing 40mph. He walked away with a cracked rib, fractured wrist and bruised shins. The corsa saved his life, and had he been in another car, perhaps he might have died. The front left wheel was sitting at the rear of the passenger door!

sxi boy, you could just pick up a run down one for anything between 100-600quid and go from there, really fun to drive, couldnt see myself owning another corsa after having the 5, and u know the powers there and u know your doing the speed your doing! quite scary on the motorway

I went to see the car afterwards and it totally shocked me. I still nicked his airbox and badge off the rear though!

the upside to this is that the saxo's weight is not compromised by a heavier engine so the immense handling and balance remains
