if your car lets off a cloud of blue smoke when you start it could be valve stem seals if its blue smoke all the time it could be your piston rings, dont bother with stop smoke or any other product its all a gimmick, i tried it in mine and it done absolutely jack s*it best advice, get a compression test done then youll know exactly wot it is

If this has never happened before and If the car stuttered and that I would have thought its not an oil but a fuel problem.

but sludge under oil cap doesnt always mean the head gaskets gone, i found that under mine, thought the worst, got compression test done, totally fine, turned out it was just the oil (some oils r really bad for doin this when they cool down aparently) I just got the compressor and blew through the breather hose, and the gunk came along to the oil filler cap and i wiped it out with a rag, gunk has never appeared since!

yeah on mine it wasnt bad, just a slight residue on cap, the rest of the oil, round the cam etc was ok (it was changed about 2 months b 4 i got the car in its mot) so it must of just been a slight build up of it.

When my sensor went..
High fuel consumption
Smoke from zorst
Jumpy
High and low revs....

Sure it was white smoke though..Over fueling due to the cooling sensor or whatever it's called..
