Another dodgy performance from our boys. First half was a disgrace, they (slovakia) could have scored three times! We only seem to get going when we need to scoreRooney was quiet, missed Bex, Rio and Sol and we definaltly have to get shot of James - wot a disgrace to the No.1 jersey!

The formation in the first half wasn't helping there was too many gaps in the defense and it meant they couldn't attack as well as they should. All the shots on goal in the first half came from the sides and were messy. The second half the formation was changed to 4-4-2 and it worked so much better and i think they got their spirits upa bit because they dominated the second half.

Yeah, but look at the formation they were playing in the first half.

2nd half we changed it and played quite well.

Feel sorry for Owen, he deserved his hat-trick.

And he was sooo close hitting the bar!

But totally agree, we smelt of wee in the first half. It was painful to watch.

Im far from his biggest fan but Vassell seems to make things happen when he comes on!
at the back Southgate was exposed due to Phil neville playing the holding role in midfield (which he cant do) and southgates lack of pace left us wide ipen at times, mills was poor and cole cant defend!!

Yet another unconvincing win for the overated England. James is a Joke, Mills had a nightmare, Cole shouldn't even been in the squad the non defending cheating little wanker that he is, Rooney is still someway off interantional standard imo.

However on a positive note I thought the to subs were an inspiration Hargreaves got things motoring in midfield and Vassell always looked lively, he always seems to play well for england.

You must of been pissed mate my Granny could of got across for that freekick. everyone was going on about how it was a wonderful set piece... my fucking arse. Give me Paul Robinson anyday over James he's a liability a view supported by our best ever keeper Gordan Banks and you can hardly argue with him when it comes to goalkeeping

Let in that Free Kick??????

Free kick was good, went on target as meant to. Jame thought it would go to his right, was off balance and couldn't reach the area he was actaully standing and covering!! (or supposed to).

I hate James, we need a decent keeper!!!

He expected the ball to make contact wiv one of the players and deflect he didn't expect it to go straight thru. Mis-judgement, that was the only mistake. Seamans made PLENTY of mistakes too.

Yeah he played a lot and fucked up a lot , not a big fan of his, never been impressed by him.

I don't think James deserves a slating. I feel sorry for goal keepers they get all the stick.

Yes but the keeper is meant to make sure he makes contact with the ball either catches it or punches it away.
