no it wouldn't! there's not much in it to 60, but the clio would have the edge slightly to 100

I fear you need to do some research judging by some of the statements you have made. 206GTi is quicker than both the Golf GTi and the Corsa SRi yet it is the only one to be called slow. Must be NA/turbo - what have you against superchargers Do you even know what NA stands for? Also, there exists no such thing as a Clio 172 Sport. RenaultSport are responsible for the standard 172 and the FASTER 172 Cup.

There is an entire second in it to 60 and the Clio would batter it to 100 (also faster than an Impreza Turbo to 100).

Thats correct for the Clio 172 Sport but I thought the 106 was about 8.5

Also the Clio Cup has a book figure of 6.5 to 60mph

Clio 172 Cup, tested by EVO, 6.4
106 is right though. After 60 the Clio would laugh in its face

no - the gti is EXACTLY the same car as the saxo vts, with exactly the same engine, but the gti is lighter.

citroen tested theirs with just the driver in, peugeot test their cars with a driver, passenger, and a certain amount of luggage also (for lower ins grp )

7.4 was a time that evo magazine got when they road tested the vts and gti

thats the clio 172 cup m8, u sed clio 172, the cup is faster as its stripped, standard 172 does 60 in 7.2

the clio wont laugh in its face either, theres not much in it, it will gradually pull away

i thought we were talking about the cup, just noticed the pic above. Apologies, but the cup will certainly pull away considerably from 60, thats where they come into their own. A Scoob turbo gets to 60 more than half a second quicker than the cup, but by 100 the cup is ahead. If it pulls on an impreza turbo like that it will embarass a 106GTi. I am a huge fan of the 106 though, wanted one for ages.

Listen to u high & mighty.

206 GTI (137bhp) = 8.4 to 60mph

206 GTI 180 = to be confirmed bout 7ish ( i can t afford this bout 15k)

Corsa C SRI 125bhp 8.0 to 60mph

Nothing against superchargers its just u chip a turbo lots more power or i want a highly tuned non aspirated engine.
know any cars that meet the characterisics i want that are super charged for 12k ?

As for the Cilo i don t care what it is called, i jus aint getting a car that has a dash 6.8secs to 60mph that does nt have air con, ew, em, es etc

106 GTI will not create any competition to a 172 or cup, theres no way 106 GTI may be fast but not that fast
