Yeh i can imagine, i had combat skirts in my garage from my old corsa and i would of had a few mm gap!!!! And i also had a Combat 2 front and put it up against car, put it flat on floor and the mounting points were about an inch above those on the car!!!!!!! So it wouldnt physically go on!!!!!!!!

I encounter only one speed hump on a normal day so its still really practical. I also had 5 up on sat night and only slight rubbing

right. i have heard so many story's regarding size of wheels, offset and lowering.

I have ordered 195/45/15. I have a 5 door so arches are different.

I want no archwork what so ever and no scrubbing also want full lock. Don't want any difference t othe standard performance.

This is a pic of my front at the mo and it can catch some speed bumps as it is lower than the standard bumper.

what options do i have or do i just leave it with the 15" alloys once they arrive and thats that?

Bigger wheels would make it higher i wouldve thought, but then again arches might come into play there. Best people to ask would be 5dr modders.

i was told the bigger the actuall alloy the less tyre round it. I have ordered 15" as u now know. Also told that was all i could get without having to do extra mods but everyone says diff things.

Nath,
Don't mean anything wrong and I'm not trying to be a tommy topper or anything but my Friend has an SRi on Pi -40mm springs and its as low if not lower than yours looks - although hes had them on for a few months now so they've had time to settle in, yours will drop more once worn in.

See the picture of the green car above... well im the same but about 4mm higher and dont get a scrub. Theirs 3-4mm between my arch and my tyre. Ok so what about when i hit a bump, wont it move upwards and hit the arch i hear you ask? Well thats where the SOLID polyurethene bumpstops come into play, springs aint doing much 'springing' for me. Ive drove like this for 15,000 miles now, ive had enough so its up to 50mm or even 40mm drop for me! LOL

Like u already said mate they will get lower. They have been on the car for 6 feckin days In real life i'm telling u it looks much lower than in the pics. I have covered about 150 miles tops on these in 6 days, not exactly worn in.

New pics tommorrow of 60mm all round And maybe even a new FK grille if i'm lucky
