Just thought about this today... what's yours? For me it's between the E92 M3 & 1M. I would probably have an 1M because they're obviously more exclusive and I think they look really tough. However I *think* I overall, prefer the sleek looks of the E92 M3. Out of all of them though I think I'm more likely to own an E46 M3 mainly because they're reaching bargain territory now

I've actually only ever been in a E92 M3 and although its legs weren't particularly stretched, it did sound absolutely awesome.

Out of the current crop I probably opt for an M2 over an M3/M4.

I know there are a few versions missed off the list but couldn't put more than 10 so opted for my favourites

I'm biased. Last NA V8 BMW will ever make and can actually go around corners too.

I'm biased too. E60 M5 for me when it first came out it was completely different to any other car in that area

In terms of looks, it probably has to be the E92 M3. I'd love a Z4MC though, as they just look fantastic, imo. Lighter than the E46 M3, but with the same engine. Can't be that bad.

New M4's are also very cool, but they seem to be everywhere now. The E92's are a little more sparse.

e46 for me for looks



doesn't look mega old like an e36. can still turn heads but be subtle at same time. go pretty well too.

The Z4 is not an available choice in this thread, sorry.

The M3 above is lovely... it's always been a slight bugbear of mine though that they're all pre-facelift
