So I now have to leave my car at works car park, due to space cars are parked very close together, and it's a requirement to leave your keys.

I've noticed a lot of cars with dents and scratches where doors have been opened into them.

I'm after some kind of magnetic strip I can simply put on side of vehicle while its parked, then just chuck it in the car again. I've seen one set online, but they were nearly £80 and I don't know exactly what I'm searching for. Any ideas?

Thanks

At front desk.

Means any member of staff can move it, and means nobody is Ailey responsible.

Cleaner reversed a bus into a brand new jag a few weeks ago, company refusing to pay out as its left at own risk..

Was an accident. Has apologised of course, I see from company point of view, kinda. Also know how annoyed I'd be with a car nowhere near its value.

I just want to protect what I own, regardless of value.
Shame people just can't respect other people's property, but it's just how it is

Nothing is ever an accident. There's always a route cause.

I Park against a metal barrier for this exact reason.

No one should be allowed to touch your property. If they want it moved they should ask you to move it

Thanks again, seen those ones. Look too thin, almost as if their door would hit elsewhere on my car still before it had time to rebound off those

Just refuse to leave your keys on the grounds that you'd be breaking the law by giving someone permission to use your vehicle knowing full well they may not be legal to do so.

Could you not knock something up with pipe lagging, elastic and some sticky backed magnetic strip/tape?

Well, I thought of doing this. When explaining to a mate, he told me the idea already existed and showed me these.
I thought I was into something new haha

What's the score not on company grounds? Street yellow lines etc.? Sounds far safer not there.

That's a problem.

As it's a bus depot it's quite a walk from anywhere, because of all noise at all times of night etc.

There is a tiny amount of parking outside. I mean like 15 cars max, but it's worse there as it's a bit of road that when a cars there is barely big enough to squeeze a Lorry past. As is industrial it's a bit of a dirt track too, and I wouldn't want to go there
