Anything interesting planned for 2016?

My goal in 2015 was to buy and rent out four residential properties. I achieved this by October, and now i'm considering selling them all to pay off our own mortgage

This is part of my growing desire to grow some balls and leave my current IT job which shows little sign of progression, and go into contracting. I like the idea of having minimal outgoings, and then possibly only working 3 or so days per week

Try and get a new job, current one is leaching the life out of me.

Lose a few stone, being saying that one for years!

Try and control my drinking habits a bit. My alcohol levels are shocking tbh. I managed to quit fags ten years ago. I think I have just replaced one addiction with another lol.

No contract will like you working 3 or so days a week.

Unless your going into DBA work. Can't see many contracts liking it. I'm one myself and been in the hiring position.

I didn't do my one for this 2015, which was to make a will.

My 2016 goal is to be more sociable and outgoing. I have found myself ignoring texts/calls from mates etc and making excuses not to go out and socialise if something is going on.

It's good to see you've already accepted you're no longer in charge of your life anymore.

Well done mate.

Last year I said I'd lose weight, and change jobs.

I've lost nearly 5 stone now, and very happy in new job.

Next year, I will lose more, and continue to go out with friends whenever possible, and go on as many holidays as possible.

2015 was probably the best year of my life, had so many new experiences and done things I never thought I would.

Lmao!! Can't stand customers like him, told me himself last week he has pushed himself financially to buy the car in the first place so can't really afford to run it / pay repair costs. I'm gonna refund him half the labour bill and send him on his way he's not worth the bother.

How was your meal? Super skint now? Haha

You know what... something similar here actually. Told the missus the other day I'm planning to phone a different mate every day after the new year. I'm notoriously bad at phone calls. Need to up my game.

To be honest I'd like to have the missus pregnant, be engaged and have a mortgage by this time next year! Quite a lot for one year though; we'll see!

Get a car project kicked off. Either BEC kit of some sort or shove a chevy v8 into something German.

Actually look for a new job where i'm not on call 24/7 or if I am, at least get paid for it. I'm fuming there are others in the office on more money and doing very little.

Get some money behind me.

Quit the fizzy drinks and coffee's. Seem to have put on a stone over the last year (was 12, now just over 13) everyone says I look better for it but I feel lethargic. Also need to sort out my fitness in terms of stamina and sort out a nose job as I have breathing difficulties ever since I got my nose broken.
