Stopping the western world & Russia entering their countries won't stop this carry on.

These cretins want to come to our countries and want to live how they would live in their own.

The want to live in the UK and live by Sharia Law, It won't be stopped now, how do you stop it?

It's too late to consider stopping them coming in, and the UK government isn't going to deport them all. We have 1000's of outspoken radicalists in this country, and we bend over backwards to accomodate them.

This is the way life is now, these terror attack will crop up now and then, and thats just the way it will be.

I still see no Kenya flag on your profile pic, you are showing nobody. All internet talk with no back up to your keyboard voice.

Clearly just don't want to go with you?

Mrs is up there tomorrow and all week for work, would I try and stop her? Course not

London is a large place, even IF something did happen whilst you were there, chances of t beig you are even smaller.

I'm sure it has all already been said so I won't bore on, but I can see it coming where we will have border control in-between cities and more police patrolling with dogs etc.

I'm all for that. But where does it stop? What about large towns and shopping centres? Football stadiums and western restaurants?

It makes sense for them to terrorise big cities as it generates more anger and headlines. But thats not to say they won't change tactics and blow up a shopping centre full of Christmas shoppers.

Its already semi there, in that the UK has the most CCTV cameras than any other EU country.

They could never have stops/checkpoints between cities, traffic is bad enough without it during rush hours.

The only thing that will come from this is more civil liberties robbed, they'll ram it down our throats that David Cameron is right to ban end to end encryption because of such attacks.... yet with all our communications already monitored, they didn't stop this event.

If you're not hiding anything, why are you worried about any new snooping laws?

So they can see I like blondes with big tits from my browser history, big deal.

A bit of Daily Mail scaremongering i see Bart Whilst i'm against making encryption illegal, storing our history or opening up backdoors into networks, 'they' don't monitor all of our traffic or communications, so i'm not sure where you got that idea from?

This event was in France, I wonder just how many potential threats we have stopped over here though.

You can tin hat all you want, the facts are the world has never been a safer place in which to live, it's not too far fetched to think that our security services have played a major role in that.

In other news, France has started bombing Syria, not convinced that is the correct response.

Errrm... Do you seriously think our calls, internet history, text messages and so fourth are not being indexed, stored and monitored?

The issue isn't (directly anyway) with intelligence agencies viewing your browsing history or habits (what's being suggested goes a lot further than that), but rather with the fact that once 'snooping' type laws are passed then there's the potential for the lines between what is private and what isn't becoming so blurred that they become non-existent.

Has it been established these people smuggled them sleeves in as refugees yet? Or is that all just Facebook hype from Britain first?

I think a stolen/dodgy passport found at the scene has suggested this to be the case.

Some suggestions that one was a French national and two were Syrian refugees. Like I said before though don't trust what the news outlets are saying yet, it'll get confirmed eventually.

There isn't enough global computing power for agencies to be brute-forcing all forms of encrypted communications (which is why a lot of agencies are having hissy fits and want governments to start placing backdoors into networks); so no Bart, they're not monitoring all of our communications

Tbf, i doubt most agencies have the processing power and storage to allow them to monitor and collect (meta) data on all forms of 'open' communication anyway; rather they'll be selective

Really what Dom has said.
If the government thinks I'm up to no good, apply for a warrant and trawl through my private life I wouldn't have a problem.

Just because I don't have anything to hide doesn't mean I want people snooping through my personal life.
I wouldn't want a random stranger reading through my personal emails, texts and calls the same as I wouldn't want a random stranger to enter my house and go through my physical possessions.

If you have nothing to hide, u2u me your Facebook and email password......I suspect you won't because deep down you too want privacy.

No, I just don't want you posting stuff on my Facebook

Used to have a couple of porno vids on my phone, but I deleted those. My phone has never had a password on it anyway, so easily accessible for anyone.
