The alleged southern wage advantage doesn't equate when you have to factor in ridiculous living costs. Makes me lol a lot. Can live so so comfortably up here.

It really is amazing the difference in properties for the same money up and down the country, I picked them 2 as they are completely different types of houses but a very similar price. I know where I'd rather live anyway

I'd rather live in 365 days of rain than down south. It's hot today actually, really warm infact. Might go for a drive around the many lochs that are local, or I could walk up a mountain. Choices choices.

Well as generation will testify, I have first hand experience as I regularly travel to Glasgow and did this ''summer''.

It was 15 celcius of below for 6 out of 7 fucking days In comparison, it was between 25 and 32c in the south east.

I love Scotland, but the weather is fucking awful compared with the south east over any period of time, even winter.
