So this shit just went down in my back garden

Circled the house at that height three times, lowered the gear as you can see in the vid, hovered for a bit then buggered off

I didnt want to get any closer as I thought something was wrong with it

It's probably those paedophile hunters. Your ex missus must have gone to the cops and spilled the beans.

That heli could literally have been flying upside down without being as baffling as the fact that people still choose to film in portrait mode, let alone the fact that the phones software allows it in the first place.

Maybe it was a helicopter blade that marked your wheel from a previous visit of theirs?

Looks like a Merlin i think Either way, i suspect it was training.

Tbh, we get them training around here although it tends to be Chinook's and Apache's - an Apache popping out from behind a load of trees is a sight

Yeah often get low stuff here regularly, it was very weird how it circlled the house 3 times, then got that low put its wheels down to land, hovered then flew off. Never seen that before.

Googled it a bit, could have been something called touch and go training, where they practice a simulated war zone pick up
