Is this another thread where a user that isn't involved gets taken the piss out of, then when he retaliates he's in the wrong?

Inspection II is 4.95 Hours a service

Plus 5.5l oil, 6 plugs, oilfilter, Manual Transmission oil, diff oil, cabin filter, coolant, screenwash (if needed), cam cover gasket, shims (if needed), air filter.

It wont be cheap, even if Internet hero's say it will. BMW charge £1k, obviously this is as their current labour rate is variable and up to and including £200p/h. National average is around £75.

So £375 in labour alone, plus all the parts needed above. This doesn't take in to account if you don't bother doing it properly, or get your mate to do it.

No you know where I worked before, cheshire CLASSIC cars, or do we now class e46 m3s as classics? Was all top end classic cars where people would pay the extortionate bills no questions asked , my old boss wouldnt work on anything that wasn't rare or expensive for this exact reason, unless it falls into one of them categories no one wants to put their hand in their pocket, "my mate can do it for half that" sound let him then, used to have it a lot when we dabbled with selling a few cosworths, they sold well but the owners allways "had a mate" who could sort it and wanted us to match the price etc, get it here aswell just on a lesser scale.

I'm pretty happy the GSi is solid enough for a regular test anyway
