A decent line up, though Eddie Jordan is a class a prick, Chris Harris is Mr serious and rather monotone and there appears to be a random black guy Chucked in to make it all politically correct.

Really ? I find his attitude and straight talking quite hilarious. Watched a video at the weekend of him taking a 320d to the nurburgring and his bluntness and blatant flaunting of speed limits made it more than just a typical car review.

The whole thing just feels cobbled together. I can't help but feel it's eventually going to be a cringe worthy watch.

I think it will be decent and fresh, almost disappointed they are still using the Stig and not come up with a new philosophy/design...

In any case, two decent shows as opposed to one is great in my book, shame Harris probably won't do any independant stuff now though.

Does anyone else find in certain moments Sabine looks similar to Schumacer?

The stig is boring, overused and gay.

Everyone knows it's not some mythical driving God from planet Nibiru, so why persistent with it?

A brand created by Clarkson and Wilman....

I would have thought a refresh was due regardless of the staff changes. Potential for the this to be cringeworthy and trying to fill shoes they couldn't.

By the look of him in the picture, the shoes Chris Evans is trying to fill is some worn out homeless guys.

I'm just gonna say it, by adding Eddie Jordan to the line up, they may just pull it off. He's a legend.

Just listening to Radio 2.

Himself and Matt LeBlanc had some booster injections as they thought they were going abroad on their first Top Gear Road Trip/Challenge.

Turns out they're going to Blackpool to film a head-to-head to see who's countries motoring heritage is better...

However, they will have to get from London to Blackpool, in Friday half-term traffic, 250 miles in convertible Reliant Robins.

Not sure what to think of it as a challenge...could be good. Sounds very old-Top Gear esque but more car focused.

Sounds the same as old Top Gear, but it's all going to rest on the 'banter' side of things.

I find Chris Evans kinda wooden, and remembering Matt leblanc's time on Top Gear before, he wasn't setting the ground alight.

People expect him to be Joey, but he's less funny, and he isn't having his lines written for him.

Looks OK. Still messing about but there's a lot of decent looking cars in there I couldn't even name.

Might even be factual, as the last one won various factual entertainment awards.

Trailer looks good but I think it will be awkward for them trying to do what Clarkson & co did and fill their shoes, rather than doing their own thing..

Its just people dicking about in cars, i remember near the end of the clarkson, may and hammond thinking where could they possibly head next, they seem to have done most things and the jokes had started wearing a bit thin.

"oh, clarkson has accidently on purpose crashed into mays car" sort of thing.

As I said it looks good and will 100% watch it, just think they missed a trick making it more unique to the "new" cast.

However, I havent seen it yet so I am only going on a 60 second trailer. I am glad we have two car shows now and not just the one.

This has been the case for a very long time which has been my bug bearer for most of it.
It was funny for a while, but after 20+ seasons it does wear thin.....
