LOLZ.

Wish he'd keep his mouth shut at times. I like his Breakfast Show, but going on the other week was embarrassing to listen to.

He gave a big OTT speech about how was not going to host Top Gear, couldn't replace those guys, wasn't in any discussions etc. Vasos on the other guys in the background pressed him on it and he kept saying he had no interest in presenting Top Gear.

No doubt Sue Perkins will co present, after quitting Twitter after insisting she wasn't going to present when she received abuse.

I think it's a good choice, everything he does is car related, he already does 2 car/music events, trips to Monaco etc for comic relief and so on, he's definitely a petrolhead.

Be interesting to see who co-presents with him though, difficult to imagine anyone being able to work on screen as well as the old 3 did.

The problem is they will forever be compared to Clarkson, hammon and may, rather than judged on their own merit.

Imagine if they did a feature similar to something the old top gear did

I don't mind Evans to be honest. I think he's a better choice than most others out there.

Apparently they were also having talks with Nick Knowles. Fucking Nick Knowles? Thankfully he's declined as he's too busy.

Not a fan of Evans radio show, he loves himself a bit too much.

But obviously he loves his cars, so there's real passion there

Funny you should say that Cavey, I think Nick Knowles loves himself! Don't know who he thinks he is!

Evans is a proper petrol head who has some stunning cars, but he's fucked whatever he does on the show. If he tries to be like Clarkson, he'll get chastised for it. If he tries to go his own way, he'll be slated because it's not the same anymore.
