I'm actually looking at Hayle, as I lived there for 6 months when I left school. Gorgeous 3 mile beach with crystal clear water.

I grew up in Hayle, in the farmhouse on top of the hill, just past the Bucket of Blood

Missed this first time around

They have a caravan in the countryside, which used to be in the most awesome place of Drumsynie (Lochgoilhead for the locals), but now it's been moved somewhere else, so we'll spend a few days up there, just us 2.

Been wanting to go John o'groats as I've done lands end, so may incorporate a day up there aswell. Taking the Fiesta ST this time, so shouldn't have any engine problems.

Poland in October also. We're going to have a look around Auschwitz. Bit weird to say it's a holiday

It's a piece of shit and how it won an architectural award is beyond me.

We had another site for them, all agreed and in contract.....this site came up and they used all their legal heavies to get out of it and jump ship.

Wouldn't be so bad, but our deal would have helped redevelop Hayle's Rugby Club to a state of the art facility.

Instead, they just built on a heritage site.

Fair enough, I remember spending a week in the lake district with my ex-in-laws and her uncle and auntie (and the sodding dog) the most stressful thing in the world. Couldn't even have a cuddle without someone 'spotting' us

This year I went to Upminster for a day out.

That's it. Moving out is expensive!

Hopefully get away again properly next year.
