Since my switch back to Microsoft, I have a surplus to requirements maxed-out built to order 13" Macbook Air Core i7 2.0ghz with 8Gb RAM and 256Gb SSD - just had a brand new battery and for some reason while it was in they replaced the screen as well under warranty (there wasn't anything visibly wrong with it; guess the original must have been a recall notice or something).

Looks brand new - I shit you not, this thing is perfect - even the guy in the Apple Store said, "We don't often get them in looking like this! Looks like you've just taken it out of the box!" when I took it in to get the new battery (at a cost of 100) so it's in tip top condition ready for sale.

Comes with the charger. I do still have the box somewhere in storage and purchase of this laptop comes with the promise that when it turns up I will forward it on, but will almost certainly not be available at the time of sale.

500 - U2U me if you want it!
(this spec 13" with i7 processor, new battery and a bit of AppleCare left go for nearer 6-700 on eBay, but to save faff, fees and Nigerians, I'm offering it at what I'd ultimately end up with if I went down the eBay route)

Pics below.

New lid with sticker still attached to Apple logo:

Lid open:

Bottom:

Ports on one side:

Other side:

DriveDx Diagnostic showing SSD health at 89% (i.e. only 11% of its wear levelling has been used during its life; this is good):

Coconut battery showing battery health (serial number blanked out for security reasons):

Just to put things in perspective, the like-for-likes currently on eBay:

Same spec, dent on the bottom of the case, chip in the lid, no new battery, no new screen, no AppleCare - 875 + 11.99 postage:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/13-Macbook-Air-Mid-2012-MD232LL-A-2GHz-i7-8GB-RAM-256GB-SSD-/171762221342?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item27fdd3811e

Same spec, chip in the lid, no new battery, no new screen, 60-day seller warranty: 789.99:

Same spec, clearly not in the same condition, no new battery, no new screen, does have AppleCare - 799.99 + 8.90 postage:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Apple-MacBook-Air-13-inch-Core-i7-2GHz-256GB-SSD-8GB-RAM-Excellent-Applecare-/301612603130?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item46398316fa

Same spec, no new battery, no new screen, no AppleCare - 699 + 14.50 postage:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/13-inch-2012-MacBook-Air-BTO-Core-i7-2GHz-8Gb-256Gb-Near-Mint-/221753806076?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item33a18e8cfc

Same spec, same AppleCare, no new battery, no new screen - 643+27 postage:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Apple-MacBook-Air-13-inch-Core-i7-2-0GHz-256GB-SSD-8GB-RAM-OS-10-10-Yosemite-/381240464201?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item58c3b3d349

None of the above demonstrate the health of the non-user replaceable SSD drive.

Price dropped from 700 to 600. Now firmly in bargain territory.
