Serious point Steve, can you quit this forum? Or has your doctor told you it's good to socialise with people online to help you in real life?

So my shipment of bits came from Shapeways!

New cockpit canopy to replace the sub standard issue one

You can see how much finer the details are when primered

Also cockpit bits, im going to rebuild the cockpit completely with these parts and a standard floor that I have reordered (issue 1)

Some extras for the hold area

Again the details in primer

Set about the cockpit, preshading

first top coat

Looks a bit mismatched at this stage

Nuln oil

Then dry brushed and weathered

Still needs a bit of work to finish off

Alex

Loving the first person perspective, and second the need for some photoshop wizardry.

Good work on this, very talented. Seats look like they do in the film

Completely useless piece of Star Wars trivia, the seats in the cockpit were designed and made by the bloke that started Cobra Seats. True story.
