Guy i spoke to on the phone said they're doing a massive push for new customers and the 50%+ off offers for cancellation threats won't work anymore.

That was said after my package had completely ended so he had no reason to lie to me.

Anyway, long story short, most of skys customer service team are complete morons who don't have a clue.

They fucked my fibre internet up so i've lost that, but i've gained multiroom for £6 extra for life and their current broadband unlimited offer of £3.75 a month and line rental discounted to a tenner.

All in, works out at £64 a month for variety, sports, broadband, phone, multiroom so i'm saving £21 per month. Not too bad really.

Still gutted i've lost my fibre as they gave ''my slot'' in the exchange to someone else apparently. Cunts.

I didn't cancel just spoke to 3 separate 'retention' associates across 2 days.
Confirmed yesterday;
Sky TV (everything) - £31.50 (50% off for 12 months)
HD - £10.25
Sky Talk - £13.90 per month
Sky Fibre unlimited - £10 per month

Just under £65 a month now which saves me just under £35 a month. result.

I've just cancelled mine. They knocked off 25% on TV and £5 a month on broadband.

Still not happy paying £42 a month. I think we are going for a freeview box and plusnet

Just had the call. Same package, £28 a month, no contract. 50% off for 10 months, free broadband. Happy with that!

Nice one. Got my multiroom installed yesterday, well happy with it. Missus can finally watch and record her shit without clogging my box up downstairs.

The normal unlimited broadband is also perfectly fine for our Internet usage, which is general browsing, watching the odd youtube video and occasionally downloading catch up stuff.

Honestly don't feel much different from the £20 a month fibre we had before.

We haven't got the option for fibre in this area at the moment. As soon as we do, i don't care what is costs This will save me having to go into the office 5 days a week.

Been trying to get a replacement Sky box for a while now, without paying the 200quid.

My Old one was knackered, constantly failing recordings - guide crashing, etc.

Sky man came round to put a dish up at my new address, mentioned it to him so he whipped one out of his van and swapped it out for me

Not tried a cancellation threat though, scared of losing Sky Sports F1 without the sports package...

You will indeed lose that Kyle, as that happened to me. Cunts secretly took it off the hd package.
