What a bastard! Wish I'd known could've met up.

We fucking loved it although we didn't feel to clever due to way to much beer friday night.

Jimbo for your sake I hope you don't have any problems with your canyon after the experience I've just had 6 weeks they had mine in Germany to inspect a small crack. I did eventually get a full frame replacement new bb and headset. But forks came back damaged and missing the front 15mm axle

Sounds like my mates experience with YT. He says he would never have another one of them! It's just going back for the second time!

See, for me I went into direct sales with a view that I wasn't going to get the back up I'd get buying from my local bike shop.

So for me there is no nasty surprises because I'm not expecting any after sales back up. But then to get a similar spec I'd be looking at spending an extra £1500 at my local shop!

Could anyone in the Strava group do me a quick favour? I've added the privacy function which should blank out the start and end of my activities.

Can someone have a look at my ride from yesterday morning and let me know if it has done it?

Cheers,
Tim

Hello all,

Bought a bike on Thursday as I wanted to get back into riding. I know to you keen cyclists it's probably not the best bike in the world, but I didn't want to spend a fortune and it seemed decent for the money (although I paid £495 at Evans for it and I've since seen it for £405 so I'm getting a refund on their price match).

My issue is, it was delivered today, and everything is spot on apart from the lockout cable on the top of the forks. Am I wrong to expect it to be a little tidier than it is? I'm not sure of the specific terms and what not, but should it not have one of those crimped things on the end and not look like this?

Is it worthy of a complaint or not?

Cheers

It can just be twisted together and a ferrel crimped on, but probably best replaced.

I did, only after someone at work called Boardman a "Halfords brand"

It's a lovely bike, just think for such a small little finishing touch it lets it down. I shall make my complaint on Monday lol
