Started the new engine. Been exactly a year since starting the engine rebuild which ended up being a full car rebuild.

All went fine. Not a problem with anything stated first time

Filled the Focus full of diesel and corrected the tyre presure. I'm about to put all my work stuff back in the boot.

Drove the Astra to the park and back.

Ran it for about 20mins and let it cool off. Thinking of starting it tomorrow again as might have a leak or hoping its just some residue i might of got when fitting engine or part dismantling it the other day.

Brake lights are constantly on and so is abs light. Going to sort that. Bled clutch and set up gear shift. Then i can try driving forward and back the length of the drive.

But other than that it all went fine, not a problem with anything?

Awning looks good Davey, what's the point in having one of them(T4/T5) if you're not going to use it for it's intended purpose? For scene points?

Brake light is just the switch on pedal not touching the pedal so easy fix. Think the abs may be related to the switch or just need to drive it to get a reading from wheels.

Leak I'm hoping is something that got split. Otherwise it's the head gasket which will be a nightmare.

All part of the adventure

I'll be honest I did debate between the two, but this Coke up in my colour and cheaper too.
I really like the front end though, have got bored of constantly seeing facelift bumpers with irmscher splitters on them.

New to this b board stuff, but want to say Somewhere .., ! lol, I luv my corsa !
I have an old (2000) corsa sport, 1600 16 valve wolf in sheeps clothing.
I have had it 6 months, it has a few small issues, it cost me eight hundred and fifty quid and I swear I have had that value
of adrenalin out of the plucky lil mo fo already !
It Loves it !
It would be bloody dangerous with a sixth gear !
Lets face it we cant travell 200 mph anywhere these days but for lets go have we gone already, its a blast.
Just when you thought you may have to change up before something whacks out the side of your engine,
you feel it grit its teeth and demand you man up and give at least 6k... wusss!
Its a lil demon,
and I luv it
