Changed the oil on the mx5 then did 5 runs up Prescott hill climb yesterday

My insurance charge me £17 for agreed value. Just had to fill out a form and sent a few photos

yeah thats what i had to do, some photos and a form. The chap who does insurance lives local to me and also a corrado driver so it was free, i was just lazy.

Fitted new brakes

Decided to treat it to the brand new one piece caliper K Sport 8 pots with EBC yellow stuff pads. Always loved my current ones and it was time for them to be replaced!

Replaced all the front copper brake lines whilst I was at it. Thanks to L16JAY for his help with it.

















Only gone out for quick drive and they need bedding in but pedal feels great and its really balanced with the rear brakes.

Set up my boost controller, lifted the bonnet to check nothings caught fire / come loose since the single turbo conversion. Fitted my new steering wheel to replace the manky 22 year old one

Still not agreeing with that. They're great from cold but as said it does tend to get driven quite briskly so they do warm up quick and then they are even better. A great pad for my application

How to change a lowered Z4 headlamp bulb. Absolute ballache.



BMW in their infinite wisdom, decided to fit longlife bayonet bulbs to the front indicators (2 bulbs). No bastarding autoparts store stocks them have had to buy from ebay and hope they turn up asap.

RC5+ are the best road pad period. 0.40 coefficient of friction from 0 degrees all the way to 1100 degrees

EBC yellowstuff will leave resin deposits all over your discs. Shockingly bad cold bite and if you go anywhere near a track (over 450 degrees) they will fall apart

that only works on 3/5 series drivers who are wankers of the highest order. Usually seen wearing a cheap suit, burton shoes and a Costa.

The niche BMW's actually seen to be driven by normal people who obey the laws of the road (most of the time)

Not the EBC yellows I've been using the last 3 years. None of the above statement is even remotely true
