My daily diesel failed MOT yesterday due to power steering 'malfunctioning', basically it favours the left to the right. I took the torque/angle/position sensor thingy off the column to try and realign it but now the eps won't work at all. I thought perhaps I could have broke the sensor when I took it out so tried vaux for a new one and apparently it comes as part of the column, which is circa £800 brand new apparently, anyone else had similar problem and can point me in the right direction of where to get new sensor? or if there's something else I'm missing?

I have a complete column here in oxford from a 2004 1.4 corsa c. was working when I removed it, also has height adjust. £50 collected.

Has it got the sensor, ecu and motor on it too?

its complete, I just un bolted it from the car as 1 piece so all electrics are still on it, motor, controller, sensors.

Ok mate, I'm yet to try a spare sensor I have here at the weekend and if that fails I'll let you know, could you send me some pictures just to make sure it's the same system? Mines an 02 that's all so would rather make sure it'll fit haha

Managed to sort it with a sensor from the scrappy, cheers anyway tho pal!!
