It's been a long time since we've been able to say that England are playing just like Spain

Knew he would screw us over, my quid bet nicely turned into 50 for correct 1st scorer and result.

On the positive side, I for one enjoyed seeing Pereira stumble around like he'd just got in from a heavy night down the boozer after being KO'd by Sterling.

Ignorance and arrogance has led to the 2 defeats.

If Pirlo and Suarez beat England singlehandedly then mores the fool England and Hodgson for not having specific plans in place to deal with either of them. Not 1 England player put down a marker on Suarez or any other Uruguayan player early with a solid challenge whereas the Uruguayans were all over England from the first whistle.

One thing to come from the world cup is that Costa definitely looks like a Chelsea striker.

The same arrogance that assumes they require a favour from Italy, when it's far from a certainty that they'll beat a Costa Rica team that overwhelmed (a Suarez-less tbf) Uruguay.

At least we made it to Brazil

Scots, eh. Terrible, just terrible.

Missus asked me If England lost last night, then laughed. It's pretty sad for Scottish people to be so envious of a team with 0 points

Entire back 4 needs to go. I'd even play Jones instead of jagielka and smalling instead of Johnson.

Smalling Cahill Jones Shaw

Can't do any worse

Thats what happens when you have a world class player.

Suarez makes something out of nothing. England waste chance after chance

Jones and Smalling would be much much worse.

and in equal measures. I didn't say what I did to incite England fans, I said it because its the truth. Thankfully the rest on the board aren't stupid enough to pick it up as that.

Absolutely Roy should have begged Terry out of retirement. Terry and Cahill at CB, Baines did perfectly fine at LB but I would actually have Cole tbh. Might not have played much but he is still a top LB. Fuck knows who at RB Johnson and Walker are hopeless at the back. Richards needs a good run in a new team then maybe he could be considered. If he reaches his potential.

Baines hasn't been too bad, Johnson is a good winger but a terrible defender.

Agree with this, he is a good weapon to have from middle to front but is extremely shaky in defence. Problem is there is no real alternative proven by Milner being stupidly tried there.

I've yet to see 1 bit of criticism for poster boy Hart yet, which isn't all that surprising. There was no blunders but someone considered World Class should be doing better.

Hart has been pretty shit, but what do you expect when you have an average defence that doesn't defend properly. He is good at City but he has a good back 4 in front of him.

I would not say Hart has been shit but at the same time hes done nothing special. He didn't do great at the 2nd goal. If you watch the replay when it goes past him hes very small, he should have come out and made his presence felt

He 'could' have stopped both goals last night but didn't, a in-form world class keeper would probably have stopped one i.e. at his height I would have said Schmeichel would have stopped the 2nd one.
