I do feel a bit sorry for him as I don't think he was a bad man, but he just couldn't hack the job.

Would not surprise me. He signed a 6 year contract and so thats 5 years left. It does amaze me that more of the clubs don't have written into the contract that if they do crap they can sack them.

Has any manager been sacked? Chelsea are the kings tho - over £100million spent on 'sacking' managers and their team
