Course it's not true, as you said, why would he leave real? United must surely be after defenders in January.

I only want united to buy one experienced defender just to teach the current lot (vidic would of been ideal). I don't mind the players we have but we need to have a settled back line without any injuries and in time they'll be great.

Wouldn't mind Carrick playing in there tbh, and we have Blind to come back. One of them with jones or rojo and shaw and Valencia/Rafael.

The squad is decent, main thing is to keep hold of Da Gea. Offer him a stupid amount to make him stay.

A lot of players don't get a choice about staying or leaving Real Madrid

We desperately need some order at the back. At the moment we are like City from a few seasons back, all attack and no defence. Only not as good.

LA Galaxy's leading the way apparently. NYC could always buy him then loan him to us LOL.

Inter stepping up their interest in Podolski. Would be criminal for Wenger to let him go. What's more criminal however is Wenger not giving him more game time.

Ah so Gerrard finally gives up on Liverpool. Lovely stuff.

He's got a sniff of the wads of dollars being thrown around infront of him and decided to bail out.

Love the way there is the usual specific rivalries between various teams, but there is a common general hate of Liverpool

I think it's even worse than the United haters

Agree, why doesn't he play that much? Very strange.

Robbie Keane probably told him joining his boyhood club would be a wise move.

It is very strange. As soon as Giroud got that Red card it should have been a case of slotting Podolski in, instead we are playing an array of players out of position or playing with no striker and just rotating the players around up front (which IMO doesn't work. You only need to see the difference when you have someone like Giroud to hit)

Surprised they loaned him as well. Would have expected him just to go although I guess if he does well then they can ask for more money to make the move permanent.
