I'd paint that diamond plate black, don't think it quite goes with the green

Yes. Plenty room for it and tidies up the inside. Win win.

Looks ok and clean in the boot but it would look alright on the back, strange to see one not on the back actually

Looks great bar the tread pattern on the wings.

Spare wheel relocation a must will look cool. Think I prefer the second snorkel too: bonus if it is a better design and cheaper.

I thought you couldn't put a private plate on a car to make it look newer?

Pressed plates, smoked side reps, debadge...

Spare on the back door and Mantec snorkel. I don't personally see a problem with the diamond checkerboard, perhaps it would look better black to match the arches etc. but meh.

Looks very clean. Good buy that.

Now get the fuel pump tweaked and it'll pull loads better.

The 300 will also happily run on veg oil without a problem

The seller said he'd already tweaked the pump but not too much just to give it a bit more low down pull

That looks very clean! Great buy will be the most fun vehicle you've owned, shouldn't lose much on it when you come to sell as well.

I doubt it'll loose anything. Defender prices will shoot up in a few years when they stop making them too.

Oh, you might want to remove the viscous fan and put an electric one in there if your planning on wading about as the fan can get damaged trying to spin under water.

How deep are you going to wade?
Regularly have the water up to the bonnet on the td5 disco, as long as you keep a bow wave and don't go silly it's fine, dad just hasn't got the heart to cut it up too fit one lol!
