The bit you see there is shallow near the edge of it, it goes right round several corners after that and gets a lot deeper, trust me no cars go through there lol

Mantec imo. Won't fill with snow or flies and wasps.

can the whole engine bay go under water? Could you cut a snorkel down? I know they say a diesel works under water but surely the electrics and wiring is the same as any car.

I doubt you need an intake as high as the roof.

Iv taken some pics in the daylight iv also included pics of some notorious hotspots, the bulkhead and the rear cross member, I cant believe how little rust there is on a car of this age, the chassis is solid too iv hit all along it with a hammer, its waxoyled, but solid underneath.
