I'm actually surprised that Aberdeen (city, not shire) were'nt a higher % no vote.

It was a tall order to ask people to vote against something that is doing just fine for them. It may be seen as selfish, but I guess you look after your own interests before those of others (central belt/poorer areas etc).

I hope that the English parties dont go back on their word regarding more powers, but if I'm honest it wouldnt surprise me one bit if they did.

How do I feel about today.... relieved, but sad.... Only I know which way I voted but I can understand why people voted either way.

Hope this nonsense in Glasgow simmers down... bloody weegies

I was quite surprised at Fife having such a big No vote. Its one of those areas that you would've thought wanted the hope of independence. Mind, you've got St Andrews and a few other well off areas and turkeys don't vote for christmas.

It was a joke you pompous prick

Jonny, her parents voted no but her sisters boyfriend was very much a yes man. Easily led youth who loves Braveheart type guy.

He supports celtic also. Obsessed with catholicism.

Its unfortuantely rare that you can have a conversation with anyone who has 'strong' beliefs, they are normally just full retard.

I see this referendum is being used as an opportunity to deny non-English MPs from voting on issues pertaining to England.

Is it not only fair that we now get our say, now that they've had theirs?

Having been watching for the past few hours on the cameras around St Georges, its definitely "No voters". I use that in the loosest term as it just seems to be a group of pissed up racists, linked to that lovely group Britain First going around antagonising people by singing Rule Britannia, waving Nazi salutes around and getting in police faces.

I wouldnt be surprised if every single one of them has a football banning order.

Also, I see there appears to be fighting on the streets of Glasgow. What a disgrace.

Can't they just accept that the majority of voters wanted to stay as a union?

My point was that if you were conspiracy-minded you might suggest that the Scottish issue was just a side-story to push through legislation that made it easier to push through further legislation with fewer people voting able to vote against it.

ie. if you want to close a coal mine, tax some bedrooms or sell a public service to your mate you've just got rid of a whole load of the left who live outside England.

Fighting with yes voters? They won't be fighting amongst themselves. Surely?

The sort of people there would fight with anyone. Can't spell no let alone comprehend what they are voting for or against.
