id like to know why the rest of the uk can't vote on it though john? even if most the people south of manchester don't even know what a scotland is.

Not my say. I'm not Scottish.

If they want it though, I don't see why they shouldn't have what they want, nor how England or the English should or could have any influence over any outcome.

I thought this was the 'United Kingdom' though.

My only concern is for the welfare of the Scottish folk who are dead set against it. It was interesting to hear the opinions of the Scottish residents in Corby on the ten o'clock news on the BBC last night, which validated this type of concern.

Majority of Scotland aren't even bright enough, or care enough about it. Would be no point in England being allowed to vote, numbers are bit unfair, only needs a small percentage to just vote yes for the sake of it to outnumber Scotland.

I agree with cpcrampton anyway, complete waste of time and money for some sort of game Salmond is playing.

i just mean from the point that it could affect england/rest of uk as well, negative or positive, yet we have no say in the matter.

They are idiots who link football to things they know nothing about. Same as the element of the Celtic support who are pro IRA, but have never been to Ireland or have any idea about the situation. Scotland will be fucked if this goes through.
They produce two things, whisky and war ships.

Whiskey employs hardly any people. I've been to distilleries, even big ones only have about 12 people working there.

Then the war ships. I'm not sure the UK MOD will want to import war ships and lose money to Scotland so will bring that back to England. Then Scotland will be fucked as their oil industry is burning out.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
