Been a while since i did anything useful on here. 3 years of astra ownership but now im back on the corsa ting. Plan is stripped out caged cadburys purple saab powered track toy.

Got myself a arden blue r reg shell and started off ripping out the redtop with a hole in the block.

Its a lot easier than you think. Wouldnt say its must harder than putting a c20xe in. Not had to cut any of the bay to physicly fit it in just for the f23 gearbox. Use an f20 and it all just bolts in apart from the block mount. Went through 5 f20s on the 1/4 mile this year with my mates corsaab so f23 should be better.

Itll run on a standard mpi pump. Nige p does the loom converters just send him your saab loom and ecu and he sends it back unlocked mapped to whatever you want and a mini fuse/relay box si you just connect a few wires and off you go £100 all not too bad really.

Interested in how the wheels turn out.

A mate of mine did some himself and said they were a lot easier than he'd expected. He does plate work and is, I am let to believe, fairly skilled with a welder.
