The car was tested in 1989.

I still remember how shocked I was and could barely believe the evidence of my own eyes when I first read about it.

Bloody thing had double or more the power of all the fastest cars in the world at the time.

It woulld have been a bit like someone coming along and sticking two and a half thousand horsepower in a current 'vette for road use.

To this day, the most impressive road car I think of.
