Sounds like Kerrigan has the yips, chin high full toss followed by a long hop!

Think we might need a bit of rain to come to our rescue this weekend...

Yep, gamble backfired big time, bounce of Tremlett or Finn could've been really useful on here. Woakes looks a county trundler at best, Kerrigan is a much better bowler than that though.

Need to bat the rest of the day out now, stand up skip.

In other news YORKSHIRE look set to strengthen their grip on the Division 1 championship. Set Notts a target of 407, bowled them all out for 150 and made them follow on, currently 83-3

YORKSHIRE!

Well that was pretty tough going. You'd think England were only 1 up with the conservative way they've played, bit of a tame way for the series to finish if we grind it out to a draw.

Yorkshire look nailed on for the title Jonny, I see Adams smacked a few around though, he pro'd for us a few years ago, hits it miles! Played against Shahzad earlier this year too, was looking forward to seeing him bowl but he didn't really bend his back.

Worth pointing out, Tremlett took an 8for today

Id just go for it, its not an unobtainable score to get over two innings esp if we can bowl them out quickly in the 2nd.

It would send a stronger message for the return trip if we beat them when they thought they had a big enough score.

247-4 is a good position to go for it now.

I would hope once we avoid the follow on we might have a hit. But I seriously doubt it. I've been watch Peppa Pig instead of the cricket. Think I made the right choice, seemed boring as hell

Thing is they've taken so much time out of the game now they've got no real option but to stick to plan A. There is zero chance of us wining from here Steve, two days left, more rain forecast and I don't see Australia trying to engineer any sort of result with the series already lost.

Lead of 226 at tea, not declared yet, but you'd imagine they will. 44 over's left, would need 5.16 an over IF England wanted the win.

But I'm pretty sure there's no chance we would try. They'll just block out the over's and bore everyone

Hmm, maybe we are actually gonna try then. Good, people have paid a fortune to watch this match. 14/0 from 2 overs

England were huge odds a few days ago as well, draw was big odds on. Gonna be some pissed off bookies if England were to win this

Not really, will they not have stood to lose more if it was a draw?

Really did not expect Clarke to give England a sniff, fair play to him though. England owe it to the fans who sat through Friday to go for this.

Great finish this is. Fair play to Clarke for making it like this, deserves a lot of credit. Shame for them that Harris has gone off injured. No England team has ever won 4-0...

What a farcical way to finish it off. That law has been a hinderence all series. Surely it should go back to the batsmen.

Well what an anti climax that turned out to be! Didn't see it live (I was compiling a rather elegant 15no, was seeing it quite well considering no floodlights too) but couldn't believe it when I'd heard what they'd done.

I understand how the rules work but it's just the lack of common sense, a packed ground, last game of an already decided series, both teams (I assume) willing to play on and a result on the cards. Terrible decision, cricket really doesn't help itself sometimes.

Clarke was perching behind the umpires reading the meter too. He couldn't wait to get out of there!

Clarke wouldn't of bowled spin though. He wanted to get off

Does anyone even slightly care if the England players pissed on the wicket after the match? Except the media of course who are trying to make it a big deal
