I can understand the Kolo toure link, very cheap (over say a two year contract) good, experienced cover to jump in when another CB (hopefully someone like Papadop....I've given up) needs a rest or loses a bit of form. I hope we steer well clear of Williams.

I'd be happy with Begovic too if Reina goes to Barca, although less of a 'sweeper' he pretty solid and younger than I thought.

I'd like to see us break the bank on someone who can change the dynamic in midfield too like Erikson or Mkhitaryan. Henderson has proven massively important this season and has come on leaps and bounds but he's built for a certain kind of game in that number 10 role, whereas someone with a bit more creativity, better passing range, more of a goal threat (but still with a good engine, and who likes to arrive in the box late) would help us in games against more stubborn teams. You would think you'd have a good chance of breaking teams down with players like Erikson, Coutinho, Suarez, and Sturridge in the side.

Another option who can play either side at FB would be good too, plus some 'like for like' competition for Lucas.

Hopefully we can keep hold of Suarez for at least another season but I wouldn't be suprised if he left, which would change the whole strategy for the transfer window! Glad to see Carroll is moving on... best for all parties really.

We need more squad depth at Chelsea, if was stupidly thin last season. Going in with Torres and Sturridge as our two strikers, despite Torres being pretty shit, Sturridge wanting to leave, with shit loads of games to play, was beyond farcical.

Would be delighted if we brought some of our loan signings back.

Two strikers needed, maybe another depending on Torres staying or going. More midfield depth, and perhaps another centre back.

God knows what will happen in all reality.

Released by united. Hardly surprising is it? New manager wants his team in there.

I really thought having Phelan around could have helped Moyes!

I don't understand a clear out of backroom staff in this circumstance, if the club are doing badly and the team isn't performing well then fine, but that is not the case Eric Steele has helped progress David De Gea massively this season, it's people like this who are part of our winning formula and help make Manchester United what it is and are used to our philosophies, but besides that, I doubt Moyes is capable of luring people of the SAME calibre let alone an improvement on these men, because if he could Sir Alex would have done it years ago....

Its all about having people you know and trust around you. This happens nearly all the time a new man comes in, Moyes will have people hes used to working with and rightly wants to bring them in. They know him and he knows them.

Welcome, Manchester United fans of post 1986, to what happens when your club changes manager.

Most of the pre '86 fans will have bought VXR8's and fucked off in stylish fashion to Pistonheads by now.

No shock there unfortunately, was never going to come to England, wouldn't be able to handle it anyway. Couldn't imagine him at a Wednesday night at Stoke etc...etc...
