The Merc doesn't half lock up

At least when the Merc is out it appears to be ok and it could be going a lot lot worse, like Ferrari in testing last year! Hopefully they can get it put back together for tomorrow and get some proper running.

People hate Lewis because hes good, and he knows it. English people dont like that, they like people to be all coy, bashful and modest, which is why we breed a loser type of sportsman.

And i don't see the issue with being modest, it's a darn sight better than being loud and brash like American drivers (majaority of American's tbf) where everyone is brown-nosing and blowing smoke up each others backsides.

I love Lewis, and want him to make babies with my GF - but sometimes he does frustrate me with his silly comments

As for being arrogant, bring it on - I want that from a sportsperson. I'd much prefer his persona to that of Button and his "I'm just a lad" front.

He's a right snake when the cameras are away from him, by all accounts.

That was forced upon him by the team/team sponsors and I remember him trying to get the team (Mclaren at the time) to reduce those commitments.

I'm far from Hamiltons biggest fan I just don't think he deserves the hatred that some seem to have for him. I think last year his attitude was much improved, he wasn't involved in anything like the amount of accidents as previous years and considering how many times the team/car let him down he kept his frustrations in check.

Trawl through search ( sorry could't type that without laughing) and you will see I'm not his biggest fan, but I agree with what you put. Since his dad fucked off and he's been given a voice I don't mind him so much now.

I definitely think he's maturing, if you are leading easily and the car lets you down I reckon you are entitled to a bit of bitch fit but he, in public at least, seemed to keep his cool.

It was also a brave move to jump to Mercedes, you've got to respect him for that.
