Anyone bought one recently?

Desperately need a new one, as I'm struggling to get comfy in bed and wake up sore everyday.

Went to a few places, tried one in dreams and it was amazing. Shame the price was 1700 for a king.

Anyone got any good pointers?

I tried a few sealys after reading that they were good and thought they were far too firm.

This is what we looked at http://m.dreams.co.uk/mattresses/pocket-spring-mattresses/connoisseur-mattress-1/

www.Landofbeds.co.uk

After a lot of research we went for the sleepshaper 700.

7cm of memory foam very comfy.

Don't get any mattress with less than 10 year guarantee.

You might think a £1000 is expensive but when you think it lasts you 5-10 years and you spend half your life in 1 its cheap imo

30% of your life isn't it?

Dreams have always pissed me off in the past being proper pushy. However today. The girl was brilliant. Telling us all about them. She was only young but so clued up and not pushy

Silentnight factory is just down the road from here. Most local people I know have a Silentnight bed bought using someone elses employee discount, including me.

I ordered a half price silentnight on Tesco Direct last week. Was £450 down from £899 so seems to be a good deal. And good reviews.

Am surprised dreams haven't gone bust yet . No mattresses are worth a grand IMO . I paid 450 for mine and it's been sound for past 5 year . If I was going to pay a grand I would expect a few female staff thrown in

I think they are on the brink of going bust.

I've had that one for a few months now. £250 for a double. Comfiest mattress I've ever slept on. My mum and dad have had the same one for a few years and recommended it to me.

Are the spring and memory foam matresses better? Or just go for foam?

The way I looked at it, I spent 1k on a sofa last year, which I probably sit on an hour a day tops.

Why spend 250 quid on a mattress when u spend 1/3 of your life on it.

Tbf I can't see me paying that for it. I'm desperately trying to find something similar in a one man band kinda shop for a lot less.

I'd pay up to about 750. That works out at 75 quid a year for a comfy sleep if it last the 10 years as guaranteed
