I backed mine up to PC
deleted my music
put them on a separate ipod for the car and backed up iphone using itunes
update is going to take ages of course 220mb/913mb done so far

I doubt it's your fibre connection if it's taking 33 minutes, it's not 20 gig.
If apple can't server it to you any faster it doesn't matter how quick your connection is.

82 mins. im not even all that bothered with the update however as new phone will come with it. suppose whoever i sell it to can use it updated.

works a lot faster even on a 4. looks alright as well. thing with whoever said boring update, well it works fine. a complete re-hash may not be the best. everything looks fine, is completely easy to navigate through. minor improvements over a complete re-make are good. imho. the lay out and current way it works are why i like the iphone. its just easy.

my update seems to of fucked my phone up :/ says error whilst updating, just shows itunes with usb on screen. so close itunes do it again, says detected iphone in recovery mode has to restore before update then screen just goes blank but is on as can see backlight, then comes up with another error :/
