That's your opinion but trust me, I have no problem stopping my car with them, neither does Sean. We're both running 8 pot calipers with two piece grooved discs. I have used DS2500's which I rate for road use. Also used Carbotech XP10 which are shite as are PF.11's.

For what purpose? I had Carbotech XP10's in my Brembos and for road use, they were totally useless. No cold bite, very harsh and non responsive. I don't doubt they're a very effective track compound but I have never used them on track, only on the road (which is what we're discussing)

Stop jumping to conclusions young man and lets stay on topic OK?

I have used XP10's in my 400bhp Evo on the road, they were useless.
The PF11's nearly killed me and a tit in a Subaru.
Bluestuff in my 8 pots are fine.

so are cheapo mintex pads, they will have excellent low temp bite, and even will produce enough braking force to bring you to a halt at some traffic lights

not getting this title fast road still, any cheapo pad will be fine for you to drive around on the roads, even driving in a fast manner, surely you arent driving on the absolute limit that you need a better pad to stop you crashing

better tell the people who manufacture and invest hundreds of thousands of pounds in testing brake pads etc that they dont need to.

better also tell all the performance parts specialists and garages they simply need to remove performance pads as no one actually needs them

No mate i wont trust you.. From my own experience of the ebc pads be it blue, black, yellow, red green etc are just all round crappy pads. They dont take to being leaned on very well, sure they will stop you well once or twice but they will soon start to fade.

You probably dont have any problems as your using 8pots im sure thats masks most of the shitness.

Ive gone from ebc pads in the same car/caliper setup to 2500's and they were much better, although ive since moved on from them as i had them in the vx and even then stopping quickly a couple of times i started to get brake fade. This was with 4pots and 330mm discs ive since moved to carbon lorraine rc5+'s and ive never ever had the issue again on track which means i should never see it ever happen on the road.

So I don't know how to drive my own car? I don't know what's best for my car? Behave lad.
At the end of the day, its all down to personal experience and personal preference. I have never took my car on track so I don't know how different compounds compare in that condition. I am speaking from experience, not what I have read on the internet.

I know how to drive my car and I am telling you that PF11's and XP10's in Brembos were no good on the road, in fact, they nearly killed me. When I put the EBC in with the 8pots, they were worlds apart and now I have serious confidence in them.

On track, Sean ran his Yellow Stuff around Blyton Park which is a very quick, tight track (lots of braking) and they were fucking flawless. No fade, no issues and that lad knows how to drive his car.

You lot need to learn that people speak as they find and get the fuck off your soap boxes. I'm not a 17 year old running a 1.2 Corsa up and down my local estate. I do actually know what I like and what I don't and I also know why I like something and why I don't. Simples.

dont know why you even bothered upgrading your brakes/pads, if your standard ones were not upto the job or working properly then its driver error.

I was considering dropping some DS2500's in as I do like them but they were £200.
I got my K-Sport set up for £500, sold the Brembos for £325.
So got an 8 pot, 2 piece set up for £175, less than the cost of a set of pads.

Yeh you're right, no logic there. I must be thick and driving my car wrong.
