possibly the lambda sensor not working properly and sending a wrong signal to the ecu and therefore causing it to put in too much fuel!can you smell fuel when you have just driven the car and stop,if so it could be a loose fuel pipe in the engine bay and only loses fuel while the car is running and any fuel that is lost is evaporated quickly due to the engine temperature. just a thought.

During and after i've driven my car I can smell fuel when i'm sitting in the car. Should I be worried? I thought perhaps it's running too rich, so I woz thinkin of resetting the ECU? Dunno tho, i'm probably wrong.

sounds like the fuel pipes are leaking on the engine end to me,my previous car (a nova) was exactly the same!fuel pipes tightened - problem cured!
