Lovely looking motor dude, I do love Arden Blue on B's when the bodywork's been looked after! Will look sexy once you've fitted the coilies. How low you planning on taking it?

I love your polished chrome bonnet stay, might have to have a go at that myself

I used various different grits of sand paper starting with 180 grit then working up to 1200 grit then after that I used autosol and meguiars metal Polish be sure to lacquer it after though buddy or you'll be cleaning it every 5 minutes lmao

not updated for a while mainly because I've been collecting parts and it seems like I haven't made any progress lol so here goes

first off heres my strut brace which didn't load on here last time

next up I painted my dial surround and opel badge in bmw sparkling graphite grey

not a bad finish for rattle cans lol

I swapped my speedlines for some irmcsher softstars so started working on them sanded out any kerb marks that it had and primered it

then gave it a few coats of rover gunmetal paint

applied some lacquer

once the lacquer had hardened for a week in front of my radiator I flatted and polished the whole thing in and out then treated it to some polished and sealed it very pleased with the out come

bought myself a nice new steering wheel bit marmite to some people but I like it

I then painted a spare boot lock surround I had ready for the opel badge I had previously painted this just needs lacquering and polishing up

and finally whilst installing my new mhws I found this lurking behind the lights and arch what I thought was surface rust wasn't and some light pressure saw my hand go through it this is also the story behind the rear bumper too so looks like a full on bare shell respray which may take some time but will be worth it
