They were a challange to say the least, if you look through my thread theres the build on them. Basically I had to use the bottom half of the Corsa sport seats subframe, welded to the top half of the RX8 seat subframes to get it to fit and work on the runners.

Not a fan of the DTM mirrors, look a bit stubby which I don't think suits the car

I think its a no all round, lots of people I've spoke to have said much the same as the feedback on here.

I think I'll get the DTM's out the shed & flog them on, put some money in the pot and try and search for some of the Steinmetz ones

I have a black roof linning & pillars in the shed, picked it up cheap last year but never got round to fitting it, its probably rotton by now

I may have to just burn the DTM's then lol.

Make some baseplates and fit some of those little carbon f1 caterham style mirrors the little square ones there cool

Yeah there the ones iv seen em on novas they look awesome not sure iv seen em on a corsa just throwing ideas out there for something that hasn't been done 1000 times over

I must admit I have had similar thoughts about the standard mirrors being perfect, I just wanted to change them so it was something else I had modified on the car.

The Manta mirrors - all be it a very cool old school idea - are not my thing.

This idea of smoothing the standard mirrors though goes very well with the rest of the smoothing on the standard parts and its not something I've seen done and I can't find any pictures of it done either!
