I like the way the passenger says that he is loads faster than you through the S bend, did he have his eyes shut?

So its been a while and ive been busy replacing bits and bobs so what ive done for the last couple of months.

It was getting a bit meh when steering so i pretty much renewed the suspension.

Droplinks,
Wishbones,
ARB,
Steering rack,
TRE

and all is nice and sweet now.

Bought another set of 18's and some more DZ03gs to go onto them and my next purchase im excited about.....

Hybrid Turbo Time

Once mapped with larger 630cc injectors i should see a nice 300/300 and hold boost until the limiter.

Very nice, just read thread from start to finish. My brother bought of these last year and I love it so much I got myself one of these for track duties and a weekend toy.

Be watching closely how you get on with the turbo though I have several over things to get first including respraying the bumper on the barge.

How easy is it to remove the bumper on these Meganes?

Really want a 225, tempted to get rid of the 182 for one!

First time it's a pain in the arse around 15 screws/bolts but it's easy enough.

Lee does composite ones or something. Probably better than having wood on your front end.

Do you remember when top gear did this to an avantime? What happened?

What happened is it set on fire for tv. All BTCC cars run 12mm ply splitters.

Yes I wasn't sure whether it was deliberate or not. Either way, extremely hot engine bay + wood wouldn't be 2 things i'd put together.

Wood needs to get very very hot before it ignites. If it was touching the exhaust manifold I'd be concerned but it's only up to the sump.
