I did really want some 500's in white because I love white headphones, but lack of fold/swivel hinges killed that idea

hd25s wont fold into a bag, and dont have swivel hinges.

To be honest the HDJ1000's are pretty much based on the 2000's anyway, dont think theres a massive difference in sound quality. Having owned HD25's as well they are just as good, they fit nicely into a carry bag as well.

considering getting a set of HD25s and selling my beats now ive seen the customisation available. (yes, how my headphones look is important to me)

think im better off with my beats and pioneers though. the sennheisers dont really fulfil any need.
im not using the pioneers on the train etc theyre too big, and the sennheisers are no good for travelling because i cant fold them up and stick them in a bag pocket. but i just want them white and blue ones

i think theyre colorware ones, but dont see it being too dificult to get some bits of plastic sprayed white
