pioneer hdj-1000 or allen& heath xd-53 are my current shortlist.



any other suggestions? i want collapsible ones like those 2

Sennheiser HD 212 Pro's are the ones i used to use.

i really like the hdj-500 in white but theyre not either so theyre off the list.

currently using some cheap american audio 550's so want to stick with that design as ive got used to it but the sound quality is terrible so need an upgrade

My mate is a dj and he has the pioneer hdj1000 they are awsome the bass is v good if u hold the cups together it shakes your hand and u cant distort them however loud you put them!

deffo recommend the hdj1000's think he paid around £130 12 month ago but im sure you could prob get them cheaper now there is alot of fakes around tho

dont fold, and they look flimsy as fuck with the split headband. i know a lot of the pro's use them but they can afford to break a pair every set.

iv chucked mine around dropped them and theyve not broke yet - every part on them you can replace anyway. they are spot on

thought they were expensive till i found out they were magnesium wish id bought them! stillnot foldable though
