Exactly Nath. The problem isnt the managers themselves, I'm pretty sure everyone gives it his all to try make the team a success, its that people give out 5 year contracts with the intention of sacking them after 6 months if they arent winning everything.

If they give out a 5 year contract that should mean, I'm trusting you to build a team, I'm going to give you 5 years to do it, so barring any absolute calamity or wrong doing, thats is the time you will have.

Chairmen panic though, its easy to see why, fans are very reactive and a run of bad results usually results in calls for something to be done. If they start losing fans, they start seeing a financial drop and hit the panic button.

Chelsea fans are deluded with their expectations of the current squad IMO.

He's got a few million to comfort himself with.

He wasn't doing so good but they should of given him this summer to do some transfers then see how he got on. And sack him next January if they hadn't improved by then.

Anyone watch the QPR 4 year plan? Very good example of the board panicking and interfering.

AVB will be back with another team who will give him time and he will be a success

This. He knew what would happen though so not totally gutted for him

Genuinely hope Rafa doesn't go there, for many reasons which I won't go in to.

I reckon Maureen will end up back there.

Thought that amit did a decent job, clearly was a fan of the club. That other Italian who seemed to work for briatore but never agreed with what he said was alright too. Just Briatore was a massive STEVE EVANS.

I particularly liked "you pay £10, I pay £35m, I don't listen to you, I sell club, you can run it, I want names of who is criticising me or I sell the club" when fans confronted him after a game. Grade A tool, someone would have had to hold me back if he was saying that to me about my club.

That QPR thing was a great watch. Was funny in places, quite liked the Amit guy. To be fair to them though they kept telling the fans that it's a 4 year plan and they did it, fcuk working with that lot though

Andre Villas Boas is feeling so humiliated following his dismissal he's planning on returning to Portugal and dissappearing from the public eye....

He's currently discussing tactics with Kate and Gerry Mccann.
