I'd like to know how much AVB has cost Chelsea. There was the money Chelsea had to pay Porto for his services, his wages, and now the pay-off which i'm sure he'll get

AVB to go back to Porto, or any other team and win everything

Quite likely. As I said the other day, Chelsea have some serious rebuilding to do.

£14m to buy him out his Porto contract, and then on a reported £5m a year over 3 years.

I bet AVB is loving it today. It's quite obvious that a lot of the dressing room didn't like him, so, him being sacked is like winning the lottery in terms of the money he'll get.

Players have too much power there. They need a strategic plan put in place getting shot of the old guard in the process.

Managing a footy team - what a great job. Do rubbish and they still have to pay you out of your contract to get rid of you.

Chelsea are doing well - £28 million to get Ancelotti out and AVB into the club - wonder how much it will cost to get the next one in.

Feel sorry for him tbh, never got a chance and the problem at chelsea IMO is the squad, ageing, shit, or hopelessly out of form. Too much player power there. They need a complete overhaul, then again, I wouldn't mind being in a job for 10 months, get sacked and get 15 million for it. AVB will be back with another team who will give him time and he will be a success

Its an absolute fucking farce these managers get these payouts for failing, that needs to change.

As pointed out on talksport if anyone heard it, when ferguson retires hes not going to get millions pay out, these managers are getting rewarded for failing and managers that have success can just retire with no bonus
