My house is described as a cottage, but it clearly isnt. Think its to do with the developement that it is in as it is a new build within the grounds of a victorian mental institution.

Pics of the new place?

Doesn't look as good as it sounded, what bit is yours?

En suite isn't bigger than the bathroom because the en suite is massive, it's because the bathroom is tiny.

Wouldn't really call that a walk in wardrobe 'room' either.

Get a decent local solicitor or ask the site who they recommend to get it through within 28 days.

going in my lasses name to avoid stamp duty as shes a first time buyer, only ever rented before.

then adding my afterwards for 300 quid, or wait 2 years until remortgage time and do it then. Totally legal to do so.

yes local solicitor, same one i used in the past, searches were sent off today, valuation should be done tomorrow i hope, then sit back and wait

Looks terrible layout at front, it's like the Neighbors have to walk round your garden to get into their house

Its not that bad, thats the google earth picture, possibly the worst picture possible. We would rather have a corner plot than a main road, as ive lived in culdesacs most my life and prefer it
