saying my car is parked on the street as oppossed to in my garage

stupid i know, driveway was slightly cheaper too.

all these years I've checked EVERY combination when it comes to insurance but never changed the garaged option

£425 for a 56 reg 320cd msport convertible, 19" alloys, coilovers, interior/exterior mods, me and my lass, protected NCD, 8000 business miles and european cover

swift wanted 780 on their renewal

coincidently a new shape m3 is only £750 and a 55 reg m3 convertible £606 - just a shame i do a few miles and have the abarth and daft saxo too lol

obvious stuff is obvious, a car in the street makes it hard to know who it belongs to (house to steal the keys)

+ They could just watch the street for a bit, see who comes out of which house and in to which car, most people will park outside their own house anyway, maybe the insurance companies think that thieves are all chavs with no brains but if their out to steal something like a subaru etc it's all well thought out.

so would farting on your face.

Hold on, are people in this thread actually saying a car thats locked away in a garage at your house, is easier to steal than what it would be if it was parked on the street/on the driveway??

I would say it was maybe more down to the damage side of things. I would say its easier to damage it yourself driving it into the garage, to what it would be parking it on the street/on the driveway.

Theres no way in hell a car is safer on the street than it is parked in a locked garage.

Adding another driver is suppose to work too.

Mine is up for renewal in a couple days so gonna add my uncle onto my policy to see if it brings it down.
