My biggest challenge of the day, and meant I set my best laptime of the day. Easy when watching it back to see where I could have been faster/smoother through sections. Bit different at the time.

Thanks mate

Got my new brakes through. Well 3/4 anyway. I got sent 2 different discs, annoying to say the least. They should arrive tomorrow morning, going to get my clutch bled as it was going stiff at Snetterton, then home to fit the discs that will have hopefully arrived and get the car packed up to leave for Donington, staying in a Travelodge to break the journey up

Got one side done at least, what a pig it was to seperate them, bolts were stiff as fuck and most of them snapped, lucky I was told to buy the bolt kit!

Yeah I have one stud missing still, just got to go pick it up as the company sent another one out to the guy I bought them from.

Well used I say...

Busy day tomorrow.

Pistons all cleaned up. I'm going to do a brake rebuild over winter anyway and give them a paint. My disc arrived at 9am this morning thankfully. So just changed it and going to get my clutch bled now

It's on the list Lee, going to give it a DIY effort next month and see how it comes out, if it's shit it'll be painted as part of the caliper rebuild.

Travelled to Donington today

A few people at the Travelodge

About 15 or so CSL's there tomorrow, talk about being the odd one out!

The white one is wrapped, it's quite a decent job but I don't think I could put up with it as I'm too picky, not sure!

It's cold this morning

Cheers lads! Yeah that's the Travelodge I didn't think it was too bad except my mate opened the window & we couldn't shut it again & the planes are fucking noisy at 4am lol

It is Fad

He might have been loaded up with stuff Matt, mine was silly low at the back with jack wheels tools etc! There wasn't any low CSL's there on the day so must have been that

Think there was about 15 CSL's there plus a few normal M3's, quality day, probably my favourite trackday so far. Donington is properly awesome to drive, definetly going back there again

Got more pics that I took but I'll upload them later

Of course :-) had a good few tussles, a twitch through Craner Curves at 80mph or something will get them sorted out soon

Dan Just take time really and build the pace up, it's quite difficult to master a few sections. The corner at the end of the straight is quite a late turn in and determines your speed through most of the back section so it's important to get it right, I probably only got it 'right' a handful of times. A few double apexes and corners with no reference points to use as braking/turn in points. By the end of the day I was braking past the zmarshall post at the end of the pit straight but I was seriously having to stamp on the brakes
Same goes for Starkeys straight there's a bump in the circuit and by the end of the day I was waiting till after the bump to brake but it was seriously last minute you have to learn what your car is capable of by building it up slowly like I did today

You will love Craner Curves
