id 1.8t it, you obviously love your car and have put so much time into it. as soon as you hit the limit of power on the 1.9 you'll start considering the 1.8t conversion again. and the limit for power on them is pretty much just the size of your wallet!
id have a 1.8t fabia

Lee has a point tbf, where do you go after this next kit? 300bhp isn't a massive amount these days

Part of the reason I'm glad I sold my Mazda, figure chasing is expensive & you'll always want more, handling is where it's at

Yeah but there's only so much you can put through FWD without ruining it and I think realistically it's around the 350bhp mark so not sure how much further I'd want to go anyway. I do agree with Lee though. 1.8T has more potential for sure... It'd be cleaner, different, just a lot more expensive...

you said yourself your reaching the end of whats possible realistically power wise. just sell it and move on but as said before why not just buy something fast out of the box and if you do want something fast your going to have to pay the fuel bill which will no doubt be quite big

If you like the power delivery & the half decent fuel consumption then stick with Diesel then. Everytime I have a play in mine it does cross my mind how much fuel it uses. For instance 120 miles to a tank on a trackday. I couldn't have a Diesel as I love the sound of petrol but of it doesn't bother you then just get the big turbo
