I own and still play MW3 as I enjoy playing it with my mates. I've actually played it more than BF3 recently  The instant someone says that it's better than BF3 because you can quickscope, that is when they lose all validity in their opinion.

I've got about 13 hours played. FAR more than I've played on BF3. But BF3 is still a far superior game? Oh, and why does the frame rate matter? BF3 looks so much better that it's silly really. Simple things, like trees swaying when a grenade blows up next to it. They put a LOT of thought into that game. Infinity Ward took MW2, changed the kill streaks and ruined the single player.

That 750 mil is for the same number of copies as MW2 - its a pretty poor way of judging game sales imo - the hardened edition was like double the price of the normal game was it not? BF3 limited edition was / is the same price as the standard game  (profiteering much on COD front at all??)
The argument for the map packs is irrelevent i think - the Back to Karkland expansion for BF3 is BF2 maps remade..

I wasn't happy about that. Could of sworn you were moaning when I laughed at you for your entire "elite" team camping on top of a building, and I joined a game with 3 minutes to go and ended up with twice as many kills as your top player because you were all the easiest targets I had ever come across

99% of the time I am using a sniper on MW3, anyone who has played woith me knows that. Sniping on BF3 is shit, this is the main reason I dont play it.
I also dont enjoy the so called 'realism' (its a game btw), if you want realism join the armed forces.

I'm not sure if it's your basic grasp of English, but nobody said spawning into a vehicle was realistic. It has more realistic gameplay than MW3.
